Stainless Steel Wax Melter with Burner

This device is intended for recovering the wax from frames and cappings using a steam bath. It consists of an external tank, where the water is and a basket to place the frames or cappings. The gas stool provides the direct heat to turn the water into steam.

The basket fits 8 langstroth frames comfortably.

It presents a highly effective way to clean back frames to re-use them.

Description of operation

1. Pour the tank with water to the level of the drain pipe.
2. Fill the basket with frames or cappings.
3. Replace the lid on the device.
4. Burner placed under the device so that the flame can heat up the entire bottom surface of the device.
5. Wait until the formation of steam for wax to melt.
6. After melting one batch of frames/cappings, check the water level and top-up if required. 
7. Refill basket of frames or cappings.
8. Steps 6 and 7 are repeated until the end of melting.
9. After the process is complete turn off the burner and gas cylinder.
10. Clean the basket and prepare it for the next use.
