The Nuplas rebated 10 frame hive lid is moulded to Langstroth standard dimensions, has migratory vents, allocation for spring clips and is interchangeable with your existing supers.

The ribbed design gives the lid added strength, durability and is UV stable for 30+ years. Bases are easily stacked on top of lids for transport or storage purposes. The reinforced ribbing on the side of the lid gives added strength for strapping hives down tight.

The rebated fits over the lip of the top box/super with a lip to reduce chance of lids shifting and eliminating any chance of rain entering the top box.

Nuplas Rebated Lid Ten Frame

What we like about the lid:
It fits nice and snug so water tight. It is easily secured to the brood box or super.
Ventilation in the top gives a nice air flow. However we note the hive beetles use these location as an escape and entry point. Our Bees being the master builders have started applying propolis.
We have also used the lid to hold the frames of the boxes during construction, they do a great job of keeping everything square.
Solidly constructed and easy to clean.
